I am a children's mental health therapist in South Central Kentucky and have had a difficult week this week both professionally and personally. After twelve and a half years in the mental health field, I have heard so many terrible stories and seen so many awful things. Sometimes, I struggle so hard to remain positive. I had ordered your book, "Change your thinking, Change you world," this week and was reading it tonight. Thank you Christine for reminding of some of life's blessings.

I read your book....it's great !! And I have your magnet nicely displaced where I can see it often. Thank you for being an inspiration! Many blessings, Dalila
Hello, Love your products!!! They stopped me in my tracks when I saw them. I had to buy a mug. My 14 year old son was killed in 2005 on his way to school. As part of my grieving process, I am opening a healing arts center called the Laughing Lotus in Marysville CA. Laughter heals the soul, makes us feel better and changes perspective. Even if its for a short time. I would like to offer your products in my store. Our minds are so powerful & just changing our thoughts can make a world of difference. I'm so happy I found your products,
I was introduced to your products and philosophy today at a new shop I intend to visit many times. Thank you for the positive reinforcement and for making things we use every day to keep reminding us that we make our own world with our thinking. I just read your story. God Bless you in making such a difference in your childrens' lives. Please keep up the good works and keep the products comin
I first came in contact with your products in a little store in Dresden, OH. I was immediately drawn to the messages as I was grieving the untimely & completely unexpected death of my new husband. I purchased 2 magnets which immediately found a place of honor on my refrigerator so that each and every day I was greeted to reminders that I needed to "think happy stuff" and "change your thinking, change your world". They are just two little pieces but they made a big impact on some of my darkest days. It's amazing what a little change in focus will do for your day. Some time later, I happened across your booth at the Dallas Market & was thrilled to be able to purchase your product for the hospital gift shop that I manage. Now that we have THS in the shop It is amazing to see how the messages speak to people. We have so many family members of patients that come in and just seem to gravitate to your products and their positive messages. Some customers look at the "change" logo as an opportunity to think globally and literally change their world. Others think more about their own personal world much in the way I did. Any way you look at it, it's all to the good. Thank you for brightening so many peoples lives.
We both love your shirts. Nathan got a long black sleeve shirt and loves it. He never used to wear long sleeves, now he does with his Think Happy Stuff shirt! And Megan is looking pretty in her pink long sleeve shirt. We're both happy with our quality stuff!

I was in a store called The Store yesterday and stumbled upon "think happy stuff". I love it!!! I work with children who are visually impaired and talk to my parents frequently about changing thought patterns (as well as to myself;) I bought a sticker and have it on my briefcase. I love your items and will buy more. Thank you for brightening up my day yesterday!!

I teach at a middle school and as part of changing the climate of our school to better meet the needs of all of our students, I would like to put on my wall "change your thinking, change a child". If we as educators changed our thinking, knowing that every child has potential, how much better would our world be?
You have no idea how the saying on these mugs has touched so many people!
I just received a "change your thinking, change your world" coffee mug for my birthday. I lost my job about 6 months ago and since then I have been struggling to discover who I am without my job title. In blogging about my journey to finding a new me, I discovered that your outlook is overwhelmingly influenced by your thoughts. Positive thinking has helped me deal with relapses in my health (I have lupus that was but is no longer in remission) and with the rejections I have gotten during my interview process. I have had and will likely still have some terrible days but I am ready to face the struggle ahead because I choose to focus on the positive. Sure I lost a job but I gained a chance to start over...and a chance to see the God has a way of working things out. Truth be told, I wasn't happy in my old job but because of my need for a paycheck, I would have stayed miserable forever. Today, I feel like I will find the job that is right for me but in the meantime, I am volunteering and spending more time being thankful for all that I have and all of the people that love me. Anyway, the mug couldn't have come at a better time and I am so happy to see that there is a company out there promoting positive thinking. I even raved about it on my blog. Keep doing what your're doing! The world needs more people like you.
I was so excited to see your tumbler in the Femail Creations catalog, I knew it would be perfect to use while working on my clients. A great reminder for them to think happy stuff! I was upset when I called in to order and they were all out. Luckily I thought to come on here and find it myself, nothing will stop me. I read your story and I too had the same challenges with life. It has been a total change in my life when all I had to do was think possative and now I'm a completely different person. I found a group called Inteders Bridge and this is all we do. I am 28 starting my own Therapy Center and even though it has been overwhelming getting started, I know I am always supported. Thank you for your contribution to happiness. I know I will be sending people your way.

I just wanted to share with you how refreshing and positively wonderful I think the products and the non-profit work you are doing is. I am proud to own your book, and look forward to purchasing more of your materials. I am very aware of the HIV problem as I have buried one of my best friends which had that diease, and am aware of many more. God bless you all.
One day while I was on duty, I came acoss a SUV stopped in the middle of the road with their flashers on. Being a cop, I pulled in behind the vehicle and turned on my overhead light. I walked up to the driver side door and there you (Chris) were. You said that you had run out of gas, but that your husband was coming. You then noticed the hospital bracelet I forgot to cut off. You asked me why I was wearing it and I explained that my three year old daughter had a doctors appointment- and you asked if she was 'OK'. I explained that she was diagnosed with leukemia four weeks prior. Before I knew it, you got out of your vehicle and gave me THINK HAPPY STUFF shirts, hats and coffee mugs, asking me to give these items to my wife and daughter. That night I gave my wife everything and she was so happy, it really made her day. The next morning she took her new coffee mug to work and I gave my daughter one of the t-shirts. Her eyes got really wide and she said "WOW it's pink!" Thank you very much for lifting my family's spirts. When my family is happy, I'm happy. Thanks again.

NOTE FROM CHRIS:
My daughter Samantha (10) and I were on our way home from a wholesale market in Atlanta. Cash was tight and I was hoping (and praying) we could make it home on the gas left in the tank. We didn't. It was close- we were just 4 miles from our home. We stopped at a light at the RUSH-HOUR busy intersection of Hwy 96 and 65. Ugh. Thankfully, I was able to reach Doug to help. Other drivers, some visibly and audibly frustrated with me, made it past my car- the obstacle in the road. It was embarrassing- especially with my large and visible THINK HAPPY STUFF logo on the back of my car. ("Not great advertising," I thought). I was thankful to see one of our faithful Franklin police officers arrive to help with the traffic. I was also thankful I had a car full of THINK HAPPY STUFF samples to share. God is good. Samantha prays every day now for this dear little girl.
THINK HAPPY STUFF fan Sea Stipe wears his "change..." tee on all his travels! He sent us this picture from The Grand Bahama Island in the Bahamas!
Thanks for spreading the word Sea!
My wife and I recently went to Madison, Wisconsin and came across “think happy stuff”. Discovering the product came at a good time, almost as if it were a sign. Our story is somewhat similar, I too am suffering from depression and am trying to discover my purpose and my wife and I are adopting a child from China. I am discovering that its my thoughts (or more specifically my negative thoughts) that are currently controlling my life. Thank you for the subtle reminder that it doesn’t have to be that way. It is now one of my favorite hats.
Todd - Wisconsin
I saw your booth at MTSU in Murfreesboro on Earth Day. It caught my eye and now that I have looked at your website I fully understand your message you have and the story behind the line. I am a fashion merchandising student and it is great to see someone spreading the word about being happy and not letting the trouble of the world being you down by the use of clothing. Im glad you came to our campus and thank you for what you do! I will wear my t-shirt proudly!
Kristen - Murfreesboro, TN
Christine, Just wanted to let you know what an amazing person I think you are! I happened upon one of your shirts on a recent visit to Franklin, TN... came home and checked out your website to see what other goodies you might have. What an inspiring story to read about your life, how you started the business, and what you do with the gifts that God is giving you! Every time I wear your shirt, everyone asks about it... of course I say "thinkhappystuff.com"! Thank you for your products, your website, your willingness to share your story....and your incredible example! May God continue to bless you!!!

I bought one of your hats from Cool Springs back in November. I took it with me on my second trip to Africa in December. I volunteer at an orphanage in rural Tanzania and since showers don't come often, the hat was perfect! I wanted to share a photo with you of a little boy wearing it. His name is PrayGod and he lives at Nkoaranga Orphanage. He is 19 months old (17 mos at the time of the picture) and has absolutely stolen my heart. I must say, he modeled the hat well! Thanks for your awesome products!
Amy Summers (and PrayGod)
What a wonderful concept. Loved my purchases! Love your outlook on life!!! Thanks!
I was first introduced to your products by a friend when I was having a rotten day. She gave me a "think happy stuff" t-shirt, and when I put it on my mood completelly changed. Now I wear it to deliver the message to others.
C. Bontrager Nashville, TN
I was so excited to see your message on a mug while shopping. I grabbed it and looked at your tag and was interested to hear more about you. The world inendates us with bad news and negative words, and makes it difficult to think happy stuff! But we have a choice when it comes to our thoughts. 2 Corinthiansa 10:5 says," We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." Our thoughts ultimately lead us to our destiny. Your message is needed and I pray that God blesses you and so many others through you.

I met Amy Grant recently and she was wearing the "think happy stuff" shirt. I liked it so much I googled it and here you are. Your story is so inspiring. God bless!
My daughter was having nightmares last year. I got her a t-shirt for Christmas that said Think Happy Stuff! I gave it to her for Christmas. She started sleeping in it. A few days later she told me that she was not having nightmares anymore. I told her if she wore the shirt at night she would dream of Happy Stuff!

Wow! Thanks for the merchandise. I received one of the bumper stickers at the end of the Susan G.Koeman breast cancer walk. Some unknown cute kid handed me a sticker. I thought about those words over and over again. Words are powerful. Then I went to the web site and read the founders personal story. Talk about inspiring! Perception is everything. We all have the power to think positively even in tough times. I have sent my stickers to my friends and family back in Milwaukee, Wi. I have written that statement on my board in my classroom for my students to see. Many kids feel hopeless.

I was in Franklin to speak at a Healthy Choices Conference and I found your happy stuff. LOVE it! Bought the little book; saving up for the terrific T! Thanks for the important simplicity of those reminders! I plan to share it with my staff, friends, and family.

Pieces of your story mirror my own. I’m sure you hear that often. We are all connected and to know that there are others in the world who share your pain, your struggles, and your ultimate grace…well, it’s like a big warm hug when you need it most. Thank you for sharing your story and your vision with the world. I am on the same pathway with the business I am nurturing. Hopefully, someday soon the words I have chosen to adorn the clothes I make for little ones will do their part to change the world, and the happy stuff will flow freely! Today had been a down day. After stumbling upon your site (by accident or divine intervention) I am certainly motivated to think happy stuff! Thanks :0) with gratitude-

I purchased a mug and booklet in a Hallmark store in Ludington, MI while on vacation. Myself and my two daughters struggle with anxiety and probably some depression also. I know your thoughts can change your world. I have seen it happen. However, sometimes I realize it is not easy to do. My oldest daughter is a single mother (her husband left her when she was 7 months pregnant). Her three year old son has been diagnosed as autistic. She tried to get him intensive early intervention therapy, but it is very expensive and it is not paid for by insurance. He is starting therapy with the financial help of family and friends) and hopefully will improve so that he can be mainstreamed in a regular school The non profit organization (Autism Resource Connection) is trying to raise funds to help other families pay for this therapy. I love your concept and love my mug and my book. I read a few every so often. I have the book sitting right on my desk. Thank you!
E. Simpson Hudson, MI
We recently started carrying your items at Carol's Hallmark. I have to tell you, our customers love your items, especially when I tell them your story of your family and that part of the proceeds go to worthy causes. Keep up the good -- and happy -- work and may God continue to bless you and your family.

I've always loved the saying change your thoughts and you change your world. I actually have that saying framed in my bathroom so i can remind myself to change my thoughts. Anyway i was in Pulaski, TN and seen your shirt "change your thinking and change your world." It really stood out to me and I had to go in the store to look at what else they had. I ended up getting a mug and the shirt. The lady who owned the store was really nice and said she had met you and she spoke very highly of you. She told me to check our your website and I'm glad I did. I loved reading your story and now its made the whole saying "change your thinking. change your world" take on a whole new meaning. I love the fact that you can tell your story about your battle with depression and how you weened yourself from your medication that is wonderful. Thank you for sharing your story. I will definitely spread the word about your website. Thanks again, Michelle, AL
I received my THINK HAPPY STUFF order today. I love it!!!! I tried on my brown tee and my 4 year old son said, "Mommy I like your shirt with the flower. I like flowers. They are nice and make me happy." I couldn't agree more with young Jackson's statement.........out of the mouth of babes.
Thanks for working with me and getting the things here so quickly. I can't wait to give my friends their mugs!!!!
J. Jones, Virginia
I am a Chi Omega and just read about you in The Eleusis. I loved your story and your company name! So, I went online and after viewing the products, I decided to order a few things! I can't wait to wear my t-shirt and spread the news of your company to my friends here in Texas! Here's to continued success in your business and your life!
We live in VA and my husband and I were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary at the Homestead Resort in Hot Springs. We stopped in a small boutique on the way to dinner and I spotted your logo on some shirts. I instantly thought, "I LOVE that!" Then I thought of about 10 other people who would LOVE it too!!!! Then I thought, "How wonderful your quotes would be to use in my 3rd grade classroom!!!"
Hello! Wanted to let you know that I discovered your product line tonight out in a new boutique off Hwy 100 in Nashville. I bought the book and have just loved reading it! Thanks for sharing these simple, but most important thoughts. Thanks and keep up the great work! I love happy stuff!
Mary Glynn, Nashville
While reading your story, it gave me goose bumps. I believe in what you're saying 100%. I saw your items today at a children's shop in Franklin and was so inspired by your motto that I ended up buying your coffee mugs and tumblers. I will now be giving them as gifts to everyone I know. Thanks for sharing your story and sending such an inspiring message!
Thank you! I saw a bumper sticker and it stayed in my memory for a couple of weeks before I finally looked it up. What a wonderful story and service. This is my philosophy exactly.
Again, thank you.
You and your family are awsome! I love your story and your product. Keep it up. Its great to see companies like yours out there. I will be buying your mugs as gifts for my friends and the Ts for myself! Good Luck in your adventures! Thanks for making the world a better place.

Hello! I'm from Switzerland I and find your site really brilliant!
I met you yesterday at the Galleria. I was with my 2 co-workers from Madison County CASA. Thanks for taking the time to talk to us about your company. My husband and I LOVE the book and it has spurred us to have some pretty thought provoking conversations and to think of the little things that we can do in our life to change our community and world. Thanks for allowing us to pray with you. I can't wait to tell all my friends about your products. I would love for you to possibly come to Jackson to share your story to our Women's Ministry at church.
What a wonderful idea! Your story reminded me of going through the process of grief with the loss of my infant daughter last year. I learned that my faith, although it was challenged, helped me heal. I was also inspired by your story of your adopted children. My husband and I have two girls, Bailey who is 3 1/2, Kenzi who passed away and are awaiting the arrival of our son any day. I believe I want more children but I think adoption is something I would strongly consider and your story helps me realize how wonderful adoption is. Thanks!
HI! I really love what you are doing! Thank you so much for trying to make things in this world easier to deal with. I will continue to pray for you, your family, and your sales to help that non-profits! It was great meeting you today!
I happened to see one of your mugs on Amy Grant's website. I thought the saying was neat, tracked down the mug and here I am! What you are doing is awesome! Keep up the good work and God bless!
WOW! Your little book is just as amazing as you are, Chris!! I have already had some coffee in my mug and can’t wait to carry it with me so that people can ask me about it. I love to tell your story. Thanks again!

Hi, while in Franklin TN with my 11 year old daughter's synchronized ice skating team, I came upon your kiosk. I am from the Chicago, Il area, and another mom and I purchased many of your items. I wore my think happy stuff cap today and I had soooo many positive comments from people. My story is a long one, I am a divorced woman with three young girls. The past three years have been very difficult ones, but with the people God has brought into my life, I have been empowered to be happy, now I can proudly wear that message with your great items. I truly believe that God only gives you as much as you can handle, and that he brings people to us for a reason, connects us. I had a wonderful time in the Franklin/Nashville area with my daughter and our wonderful skate team from Chicago. Life is definitely an adventure to be shared, and I am sharing your wonderful message up here in Chicago. :)
I love the happy message that your company sends and have given your website and stickers to several friends and co-workers. I work at an Elementary school and know that wearing something with such a positive powerful message has a positive impact on those around me!
I work at my church office and a special friend of mine got me the little book "change your thinking, change your world." I would love to order several. It was so practical and to the point and simple.
I am in the sorority Kappa Delta that you talked to last Tuesday night at Tennessee Tech. I'm a freshman this year and for me to actually have made it to school is a miracle. The week of my graduation in May my brother killed himself. When it first happened i thought it was all a joke because someone called me at like 3 in the morning the night it happened and just said he had shot himself and thats all they would say to me. I woke up my parents and told them because i didn't know if it was true or not and the person who had called me wouldn't answer his phone again. They got up and went to his apartment. I didn't find out till the next morning that it was true. He was buried the day of my graduation so while everyone else was excited about being out of school all i could think about was how i'd lost my best friend. I found out later that his fiance was the reason he did it. I had a very serious boyfriend at the time and we broke up not long after that happened. Every day since I lost him has been so hard, but everyday it gets a little better. One of the girls in my sorority first told me about your stuff and it really has helped. I have your stickers on all of my notebooks and look at them all the time in class. Now anytime it gets hard for me I can look at that stuff and know that everything really can be ok even if i don't think so.
Chris- My sister just gave me one of your hats... I looked on the website and am just amazed. My story would take up your entire site :)... basically, I woke up one day and my life literally was blown apart. I've been in the midst of a bitter divorce for the past two and a half years. I have two young daughters, my oldest with special needs. Both are such special gifts which I have the blessing of raising. I look at my oldest daughter on the days when I want to give up and think "she NEVER gives up, she never stops, she always laughs, and she is the most determined little girl that I have ever met, in spite of her disabilities". My girls inspire me to push forward, find the joy in the moments when there is no joy, and persevere. Your inspiration has touched my heart today... and for that, I thank you. What a wonderful gift you have set into motion, reaching into your heart, on so many different levels, and pushing through pain to give other people the encouragement to do the same. Thanks for the gift today, for the smile, and for message. What a wonderful thing you are doing... sharing love, joy, and hope. With many hugs and much love- Amy:)
Christine, my daughter, Eve was in the KD group you spoke to tonight, and was so touched by your story, that she called to tell me about it. Eve is one of the most positive people I know. My husband was laid off this summer and is still without a job. I love it when Eve comes home, because she has a way of making everything seem much better. It IS all about attitude, and it IS truly God's grace that can help us be positive and get us through the toughest of times. THANKS A MILLION for what you are doing and may God bless your efforts and your family!
Dear Christine, Great idea! My daughter is in Maxine's class and I first saw your logo at a birthday party. Chatted with Elizabeth at the mall. :) Love your concept. My husband will love it to. He is a firm believer in thinking happy stuff. :) I wish you the best of luck. I am excited for your business and how it may grow. Blessings on you, your family and your vision! Monica
I recently made a trip to Franklin where my sister in law and brother in law live. While I was there I went to the mall where I met your lady running the booth, Kim. She was the nicest lady!! I totally loved your message and merchandise!! It is so true how you think is how your world is. I am doing a class with my broker (I sell real estate on the side) and it is called "your heart's desire." I purchased mugs and will be giving them to my broker and her assistant tonight. I am so excited cause I know they will love them! Kim had told me your story and how your business got started and that is an awesome story and you must have a heart of gold to do what you have done for the children you adopted. That is great, the world needs more folks like you!
Just wanted to let you know that I was at your kiosk this past Saturday 9-29-07. I was very impressed with your daughter Elizabeth. She explained a little about your company. I love the wonderful message you are trying to send with your products. I bought two shirts and two car decals. I will do all I can to try and send your message in my little corner of Arkansas. I will check your website often to see if you have added any new products (travel mugs?) Thanks
dear chris, love your story and the stories of others that you have shared on your site. we are praying for you and your company and your family. you are an inspiration to me and may God bless you mightily as you share His love with others. you go girl!!!!! candace
Hi my name is Codi Cummings. My mother had spoken to you just this week about my sorority and how we love THINK HAPPY STUFF! I am a Kappa Delta at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN. After receiving a shirt that was purchased by my mother from your line, I was immediately drawn to your story and the idea behind the merchandise. I then brought the ideas and merchandise to my chapter and they immediately accepted and loved what you are doing. We are in the process as of now of getting our entire chapter to get THINK HAPPY STUFF merchandise! We want to wear it around campus and show our support hopefully getting others in the greek community involved as well. We fully support and encourage you! Thanks so much for coming up with the idea and please let me know if there is anything that our chapter of Kappa Delta can do to support you and your family! God Bless!
Hi, I saw your vehicle on Broadway this morning ~10:30 AM and thought "there's someone with a positive mental attitude!". Visiting your website confirmed that and more. I applaud your giving spirit....8 kids! WOW!
I love your products and your purpose. good luck
thank you for your encouragement today. i got your decal and will probably place it on the front of my car to remind me. i have a story--i have to not allow the enemy to steal what God has given to me--way to follow your dreams. yall are an inspiration. krista gaston
I just wanted to let you know that I was in traffic on Friday afternoon and saw your car in front of me and just the advertisement on the back of your car made me smile on a busy Friday afternoon in Cool Springs traffic!!!!
I ran into Chris at the mall today 6/30 and heard about the great things yall are doing with "Think Happy Stuff". When I got home and was reading about your stories, I realized I know Tom Andrews. I was good friends with his daughter Suzanne when I was younger and could not believe Mr. Andrews has parkinsons. I love the slogan "Change your thinking. Change your world". My third child was born with down syndrome one year ago tom., and that phrase means a lot to me also. Thanks for sharing your stories. Lauren Kunkel Huy
My name is Melanie. I am 25 years old and a third grade teacher in Florence, Alabama. While I have had many blessings in my life, I have also had tragedy. In November of 2000, my dad passed away suddenly. My mom, brother, and I made it through the sad times with the strength given to all of us by God. With time, the three of us finally began feeling like a family again. Now, almost seven years later my family has been hit with heart wrenching tragedy again. On June 10th my 21 year old brother Michael was killed in an automobile accident. Michael was working as a camp counselor for Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters in Andrews, North Carolina at the time. He and three other counselors were killed in a weekend camp trip to a baseball game. To say my brother was an optimistic and compassionate person would be an understatement. He never had a bad day and always had the brightest smile on his face. He was always first in line when others needed help. He was a true man of God and I know he is standing with his Lord today. However, my mom and I are left behind and are somewhat overwhelmed and shocked by what we are supposed to do now. Following the uplifting funeral service, we spent each day meeting and talking to people my brother impacted and welcoming guests with love and food into our home. After about two weeks of being in the house, my mom, aunt, grandmother, and I were told by loved ones that we needed to get away if possible even just for a day. We decided to drive to Franklin, Tennessee and go to the Coolsprings mall. When we got to the mall, I passed by the Think Happy Stuff kiosk. I stopped and looked at the cute t-shirts and other items. I talked with Christine Fekete who was working there that day. After seeing the products, when I got home I found their website. Just from reading and learning what their mantra- “Change your thinking, Change your world”- means really brightened my day. Think Happy Stuff would definitely be something I would have shared with my brother Michael. I know that he would be just as interested in them as I am. Thinking happy and changing the world by helping others was what my brother was all about. It would be easy for us all to shut down and stop when hard things come our way. However, if we all change how we think about our own situations and begin to reach out to others in need, happy stuff will begin to happen. I am so thankful that I saw Think Happy Stuff, Inc. that day. I will continue to support and help their organization any way that I can.
